Fredric M. Lehrman, Esq. has over three decades of experience in counseling and representing private clients throughout New York in legal situations requiring expertise in diverse fields of law from criminal to civil matters. Mr. Lehrman holds the high honor and distinction of serving as the former Assistant District Attorney (1975-1977) of Bronx County, NY. Fredric M. Lehrman’s specialty of Real Estate legal services comprise six main practice areas: litigation, real-estate, landlord/tenant, condo/co-op, commercial law and collection law. Fredric’s expertise lay in his distinctive ability to provide legal advice and courtroom practice in a breadth of areas encompassing real estate law. 

 

Fredric M. Lehrman has a tradition of educational excellence from primary school through current. Mr. Lehrman attended Riverdale Country Day School in Bronx, NY for primary school since grade 4. Fredric attended the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business (1969) where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics. Mr. Lehrman then went on to study law in New York City at New York Law School. Following his formal education, Mr. Lehrman began working in Bronx County, NY first as a clerk for a practicing attorney.

 

Mr. Lehrman keeps abreast of all current proceeding and laws through his studies and participation in continuing legal education (CLE) courses and continued biannual certification. He has taken courses on current topics in Landlord and Tenant Law in New York, Residential and Commercial Evictions, and Landlord Tenant Law, amongst others. Mr. Lehrman is also aware of new laws and regulations including knowledge and compliance with the NYS Housing Securities and Tenant Protection Act of 2019 and its effects on summary proceedings within Town and Village Courts with respect to new Landlord Tenant laws.
